About Model Chief
AI explained for people who want to understand it and build with it.
On Model Chief, I cover generative AI, practical workflows, local AI, AI filmmaking, agents, and broader AI engineering. This site is where the files from every video live, with written guides that go further than a video can.
Who makes it
Esha
Senior AI Developer
I test generative AI models, build practical workflows and explain how they work.
How the guides are made
- Everything is run first. Each guide names the ComfyUI version it was tested on, next to the date at the top.
- The pictures are real. Renders come from the workflow on the page, with the seed and settings given, and screenshots are of the app itself.
- Code is run end to end. A custom node is loaded into a real ComfyUI install and run before its guide goes up.
- One machine, stated plainly. Windows 11, an RTX 4090 with 24 GB of VRAM, and 64 GB of system RAM. Where a number depends on that, like a render time or a download, the guide says so.
- Guides get rechecked. When ComfyUI or a model changes, the guide is checked again, and the Updated date at the top shows when.
Free to use
Every file from the videos is free to download, with no sign-up. The workflow files are CC0, so you can use them for anything, commercial work included.
